I’m excited to offer live portrait sketching at events!
I love interacting with folks by sitting and chatting with them while I sketch. I find that this level of engagement creates more warm, genuine portraits than drawing from poses or static photos. My style is very loose and relaxed, capturing the moment and people’s personalities in simple strokes, usually with a black pen and a splash or two of colour. My speed also ensures guests walk away with a 5x7 portrait within 5-8 minutes, depending on the group size.
